Ambassador Shozab Abbas welcomed the decision of Ethiopian Airlines to launch direct flight from Addis Ababa to Karachi, after a gap of 20 years. The resumption of air link will strengthen diplomatic, political, economic and people to people contact between two brotherly countries of Pakistan and Ethiopia.

Mesganu Arga, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, H.E. Kassahun Gofe, Minister of State for Trade & Regional Integration and H.E. Dr. Fozia Amin, Minister of State for Innovation and Technology will also fly with Ambassador to Pakistan. The inaugural ceremony at Bole International Airport was headed by Mr. Lemma Yadecha, Chief Commercial Officer of Ethiopian Airlines.
